Description

Because when Warping via' Midna, you fall upwards.

I started drawing a wolf because ~Boomerang-Fukai had inspired me to.
So I just did a doodle.
then worked on it.
and worked on it again.
And again.
And so on.
And eventually pursued the task of beating Robin's shading skills.
I have failed, but this lovely thing above was produced.
Wolf Link ~

Enjoy.
Traditional Drawing + Gimp Tint colours.

Woo hoo! First critique! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="25" height="25" alt=":boogie:" title="Boogie!"/>

I won't boast and say I'm the greatest artist alive, but as a traditional artist who relies solely on instinctual inspiration to carry her art to completion, I must say I respect your ability to make the wolf look natural. The coloring is complementary and keeps to the original art, which any true Zelda fan can appreciate. I actually love the front part of his face, specifically the symbol on his forehead, his eye, and the detail on the nose.

I would have made the coloring a bit darker, but in this case, it does not take away from the overall appeal. Though a touch of one's style is desired in any piece of fan art, it comes out a hair stronger in this.

This is noted to be one of the better pieces of fan art I have seen as far as Zelda is concerned, and not for the picture quality or the subject used, but for the adherence to the original design. Your style isn't too obvious, you aren't adding any details that were not in the design specs of the game, and more importantly, it looks like the character as opposed to being mutated by your style.
